PARENT INFORMATION

Parent (Team Support)- Hour Requirements

  • In order to be successful as a club, PVP needs the help and support of our parent community. Parent volunteer hours are an essential part of our club. Coaches spend countless hours planning seasons, creating training plans and completing a variety of other daily duties; not to mention the actual time and energy spent on the pool deck! PVP wants coaches to continue to be able to focus their efforts on creating training programs that develop strong swimmers and well-rounded athletes. In order to do this, PVP needs the help of parents behind the scenes with planning/running major events, assisting with administrative tasks and many other crucial jobs. To ensure that PVP is ready to be as successful as possible, we require that all families contribute a certain number of service hours every year.
  • All of our service hours center on our __ annual meets/tournaments at PVP, lane timing at away meets, the annual Lap-A-Thon fundraiser and other team events such as the Awards Banquet, movie night, etc. Roles range in size and responsibility. Luckily, there are countless opportunities for families to fulfill their service requirement without a major commitment. New jobs are constantly arising!
  • PVP requires each Water Polo family to fulfill __ hours of service every season.
