Water Polo Program Director

Head Coach 18u Water Polo

Eve has been involved in the sport of water polo for the past 12 years both as a player and as a coach. She is currently the Girl's Varsity Water Polo Coach at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose winning a CCS Division I Championship with the 

Monarchs in her first season. She is also one of the Youth Age group coaches for USA Water Polo’s Olympic Development Program for the Pacific Zone. Eve competed for Sobrato HS and went on to play for CSU Monterey Bay’s NCAA DII program while earning her B.S. in Kinesiology. She previously coached at Harbor High School, Santa Clara Swim Club Water Polo, and Presentation High School. Coach Eve also has a Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

Head Coach 16u Water Polo 

Coach K is from Stockton, CA. He grew up swimming competitively and eventually transitioned to playing water polo. Coach K attended UCSB, and is an Engineering Manager at Texas Instruments. He is the Varsity Girl's and JV Girl's Water Polo Coach at Pioneer High school. Previous to that he was the JV Girl's Coach at Pioneer. Coach K is huge on fundamentals, development of game knowledge, and regularly inspires us to be our best! 

Head Coach 14u Water Polo 

Beverly originally from Antioch played at Diablo Valley College for John Roemer and went on to play at Cal State East Bay. She graduated with a Bachelors in Human Development. Additionally Ayers has graduated with her Masters in education from USC. Previously she coached at San Leandro High School as their Head Varsity Women’s Coach for three years,  SOAC, and Irvington High School. She currently is the newly appointed Junior Varsity Coach at Archbishop Mitty High School. 

Assistant Water Polo Coach 

Coach Sophia Harvey is an Alumni of Pacific Valley Premier. She was part of the inaugural girls team to launch the program back in 2018. Sophia is from San Jose and was a multi-sport athlete before committing to water polo. She graduated from Presentation High School as the Varsity Water Polo team captain and won the school's first CCS Championship title. Sophia currently attends Santa ClaraUniversity, is majoring in Environmental Science, and plays for the SCU DI Women's Water Polo Team.  

Assistant Water Polo Coach 

Josephine began swimming competitively when she was 7 years old. She swam for Peak Swimming until she was 16, and then briefly for Pacific Valley Premier soon after. Josephine graduated from Presentation High School in 2022, where she swam on Junior Varsity her freshman year, and on Varsity for the next three years. She served as swim team captain her junior and senior year. She was awarded Freshman of the Year in 2019, then earned Varsity MVP her senior year. She qualified for CIF state championships her freshman year, along with CCS championships for another three years. Josephine is currently attending De Anza College, and is majoring in biology to later pursue dentistry.
